Verdict
The Bybit Card makes most sense for people who already trade on Bybit and keep a balance on the exchange. It is a crypto debit card that spends straight from your Bybit Funding Account, so it rewards existing platform users far more than newcomers shopping for a standalone card.
The headline is up to 10% cashback, tiered from 2% to 10% by your Bybit VIP level and monthly spend, and paid in USDT. There is no annual fee. Custody is the catch: this is a custodial card, so Bybit, the exchange, holds the money, not you.
Rewards and their real conditions
The advertised “up to 10% cashback” is a top-tier rate, not a default. The rate runs 2% to 10%, and you only reach the ceiling by climbing Bybit’s VIP levels and spending more each month; most cardholders will sit near the bottom of that band. Monthly caps also apply, and Bybit keeps the per-tier cap amounts on a separate Bybit Card Rewards page rather than on the main product pages.
Two other rewards need context. Bybit VIPs can earn 100% cashback at selected merchants, a merchant-specific perk rather than the everyday rate. And the new-user welcome package pays 10% cashback up to 110 USDT in your first 30 days, plus a 10 USDT airdrop for topping up at least 100 USDT, both promotional and time-limited. All cashback is paid in USDT, credited to your Funding Account within four days of spending.
Fees
There is no annual fee, no dormancy or inactivity fee, and no cancellation fee. The rest of the schedule is where costs hide:
- Card issuance: free for the virtual card; $5 or 5 USDT for the physical card.
- Foreign exchange: 1% on top of Mastercard’s rate in most regions, rising to 1.5% in Brazil, 2% across several Latin American markets, and 7% in Argentina.
- Crypto conversion: 0.9% on top of Bybit’s spot trading fees, plus a minimum conversion fee of 1 EUR/USD (or 5,000 ARS / 10 BRL) when your crypto is converted at checkout.
- ATM withdrawals: free up to $100 a month, then 2%.
Custody and funding
This is a custodial card, and that is the most important thing to understand about it. The card has no separate wallet balance; it deducts spending from your Bybit Funding Account, which the exchange holds. You are not spending from a self-custody wallet.
You top up that account with One-Click Buy or by topping up crypto from other wallets, then spend from a balance of eight supported cryptocurrencies: BTC, ETH, MNT, USDT, USDC, XRP, BNB and TON, of which USDT and USDC are the stablecoins. If you lack enough fiat at checkout, your chosen crypto is converted to fiat to cover the shortfall.
Availability and access
Availability is region-specific, and the network you receive, Visa or Mastercard, is assigned by the country or region you apply from. One contradiction is worth flagging: Bybit’s own guide lists availability across the EEA/Switzerland, AIFC, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and APAC, while the current product page carries a note that the card is not meant for European Economic Area customers.
The issuer of record also depends on region: Fly Wallet Pty Ltd for Australia and most regions, and Via Payments UAB with Moorwand Ltd for the EEA. Both Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported, though availability varies by card program.
Who it is for
Get it if you already use Bybit, keep funds on the exchange, and want to spend that balance with occasional high cashback and no annual fee. Skip it if you want self-custody, since the money sits in an exchange account, or if you are in the EEA, where Bybit’s own product page currently says the card is not for you. Either way, confirm your country is supported before applying.
